What this is

CTHULHU MANDATORY is an independent creative project: a long-form work of fiction that keeps a running count of the people who choose to take part. Everything on this site — the vote, the registry, the "administration", the proposals, the countdown — belongs to that fiction.

No real government, institution, company or person is involved. Nothing here is an official census, a survey, a petition, or a registry of any kind that carries weight anywhere. Any official-sounding language is a narrative device and nothing else. If you are reading this page, you already knew that.

Proposals

Anyone may file a proposal. The system reviews it before it becomes visible, and the criteria are not published. Anything filed may be shown publicly, edited for length, or ignored. Do not file anything you would not want read by strangers, and do not file personal data — yours or anyone else's.

What belongs to whom

The story, the characters, the artwork, the texts and the designs of CTHULHU MANDATORY belong to their author. The downloadable material — posters, pamphlets, stickers, QR codes — is offered freely, for you to print and hand out. That is what it is for.

What you may not do: sell it, claim it as your own, or use it to pretend the project endorses something it does not.

Use of the site

Do not attempt to break, overload or automate against this site, and do not use it to harass anyone. If you do, your access may be blocked. That is the whole rule.

No warranty

This is an independent project, run on one server by its author. It may be down. It may lose an email. It may end. It is offered as it is, with no guarantee of availability or of anything else.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law.
